Drive Excellence in Academics and Administration

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive academic and administrative excellence within our Faculty.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering innovation and research, strengthening industry partnerships, and promoting international collaborations and exchange programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • a) Timetable Optimization: Provide guidance to Heads of Departments and teachers in designing timetables to optimize the utilization of infrastructure and human resources effectively.
  • b) Student Communication: Oversee the timely preparation and distribution of information among students upon commencement of the semester/term containing essential details about studies, examinations, rules, schedules, and guidelines.
  • c) Enrollment Process: Serve as the single point of contact for the institution to ensure the timely completion of the enrollment generation process for newly admitted students.
  • d) Institutional Data Management: Ensure that institutional data related to teaching and learning, staff, examinations, academic programs, and circulars/notices for students is regularly updated on the university website and the MIS.
  • e) Staff Meetings: Conduct regular meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff to understand challenges related to teaching and learning process and examinations and explore solutions in consultation with the Principal.
  • f) Student Feedback: Hold periodic meetings with students to gather feedback on the teaching-learning process and the conduct of examinations and explore avenues for continuous updation/enhancement in the same in consultation with the Principal.
  • g) Institute Inspection: Assist the Principal and Dean of the respective faculty in preparing for the scheduled visit of the expert committee for the institute's inspection.
  • h) Training Programs: Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, and symposiums in collaboration with the Principal and the Centre for Human Resource Development.
  • i) Career Awareness Seminars: Collaborate with the Admissions Cell to organize career awareness seminars in various regions to promote the institute's programmes among prospective students.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • i. Ph.D. degree
  • ii. Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
