Customer Service Specialist

Job Description:

The primary function of this role is to deliver exceptional customer service experiences through prompt and professional communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills. This includes responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues in a timely manner, and providing solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by being responsive, empathetic, and proactive in addressing their needs.
  • Take ownership of customer shipments and issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up as needed.
  • Engage in constructive problem resolution, seeking solutions that meet customer requirements and company standards.
  • Communicate proactively with customers, keeping them informed of any issues or changes in the booking process.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement, analyzing root causes and implementing changes to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of shipment lifecycle processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree level with 2-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Previous experience in shipping/logistics is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
