Senior Fund Accountant Position

This is a critical role for an experienced fund accountant to manage monthly closes, oversee full-cycle accounting, and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting across multiple industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund-level accounting, private equity, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly closes and oversee full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks or similar platforms.
  • Record and track interest, fee, and equity income across structured deals.
  • Prepare management reports and investor-ready financial statements.
  • Support CPAs on tax preparation, filings, and fund administration.
  • Review financials from 1–5 portfolio companies and flag variances.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of direct fund accounting experience (private equity, private debt, or fund administration required).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Background working with companies in the $10M–$100M revenue range.
  • Ability to manage both fund-level and portfolio-level reporting.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms.
