Job Title: Cash Management Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Management Specialist to join our finance department. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and financial statement analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cash Forecasting and Planning: Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, financial statement analysis, and investment strategies to optimize working capital.
  • Cash Targets: Develop cash targets to support efficient liquidity management and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements.
  • Electronic Cash Receipt and Disbursement Processing: Oversee electronic cash receipt and cash disbursement processing and accounting.
  • Daily Cash Positioning Activities: Oversee daily cash positioning activities including managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation, and bank reporting.
  • Optimizing Working Capital: Manage excess operating cash to obtain optimum interest revenue.
  • Funding Requirements: Ensure timely funding of accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain optimal cash levels.
  • Banking Relationships: Manage banking relationships, account structures, and payment processing.
    • Treasury Process Automation: Leverage tools such as ERP systems, TMS, and data visualization platforms to enhance decision-making and tracking of KPIs.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, or finance required.
  • Advanced Degree: MBA or advanced degree in business, finance, or management preferred.
  • Relevant Certifications: B com, MBA, CA.

Key Skills:

  • Treasury Best Practices: Strong knowledge of treasury best practices, including financial regulations, tax codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Financial Modelling: Strong knowledge of financial modelling and analytical techniques.
  • BI Tools: Familiarity with BI tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Treasury Management Systems: Proficient in treasury management systems (TMSs).
  • Excel Skills: Proficient with Excel and ability to create complex spreadsheets.
