Treasury Specialist Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our treasury functions. Your responsibilities will include handling margin calls, managing collateral, and performing interest calculations.

You will also be responsible for reconciliations across multiple products and platforms, as well as executing and monitoring internal transfers to ensure timely and accurate settlements.

In addition, you will oversee payment processing and SWIFT transactions, guaranteeing compliance and accuracy throughout the process.

Your collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in resolving any discrepancies that may arise.

You will also support KYC documentation and compliance processes, providing valuable insights and expertise to drive business growth.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in cash management, treasury, or derivatives operations.
  • Strong understanding of margin models, collateral management, and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of financial products – derivatives (futures, forwards, options, swaps), FX, and related instruments.
  • Hands-on experience with payment systems, SWIFT, and settlement processes.
  • Exposure to KYC requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools; familiarity with treasury/settlement systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
