About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Fairmont Jaipur. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menu concepts, ensuring alignment with the hotel's culinary vision
  • Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and control food costs, maintaining a high level of profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for innovation and creativity
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in fast-paced environments
