The role requires an individual with a profound understanding of retail business objectives and staff-related challenges. This insight will enable them to create strategic recommendations.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for our staffs and sales team, facilitating open communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Governance: Oversee human resource metrics such as staffing, retention, engagement & cost for the business.
  • Engage with Regional Managers/Territory Managers: Collaborate on Recruitment, Compensation and Employee Relations initiatives.
  • Employee Satisfaction & Development: Operate independently to ensure employee satisfaction and development of the team.
  • Train, Mentor & Lead HR Initiatives: Deliver training, mentorship and leadership in HR best Practices for the team.
  • Culture, Performance, Recognition & Policies: Directly interact with store staff to implement change initiatives related to culture, performance, recognition and policies.
  • HR Operations, Induction, Performance Management & Employee Relations: Responsible for HR operations, including induction, performance management, employee relations and exit process.
  • Leadership Coaching: Coach individual managers on growing management/leadership capabilities.
  • Policy Ownership: Own/drive HR policies and directives, ensuring smooth implementation across the organisation.

Travel Requirements: Should be able to travel across the country for staff meetings.

Qualifications
  • 3-6 years' of retail relationship experience. Preferably from Large format Business;
  • Ability to manage big teams;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Should be able to converse in Hindi and English.
