Job Purpose:
  • To originate new business, manage and grow liability relationships for Institutional Liabilities Business - IBG 3, focusing on mid-to-large-sized companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drove liabilities sales through NTB acquisition of liability clients for operating accounts, term deposits, and other transaction banking products, with targets set at 2-3 accounts per month with an Average Quarterly Balance of INR 2 cr per account.
  • Originated clients in cash-rich segments, particularly MNCs, GCC, IT/ITES, KPO/BPO Cost+ Centres, education, shipping, and logistics, data centres, pharma (R&D), reinsurance brokers, EXIM companies, and companies in the ecommerce and digital space.
  • Leveraged relationships with intermediaries in the market, such as law firms, CA/CS firms, and consultancy firms, to source deals in the M&A and PE/VC space, both annuity and episodic in nature.
  • Leveraged relationships with DBS Regional teams to improve and increase the flow of cross-referrals, capitalizing on the International Corridors network of DBS.
  • Sourced episodic deals via intermediaries through various FEMA and escrow solutions.
  • Supported Regional Sales Heads in implementing liabilities strategies and meeting revenue budgets from origination.
