MEP Project Manager for Semiconductor Facility

The position of MEP Project Manager is available in a dynamic organization focused on delivering large-scale industrial and high-tech projects. As an experienced professional with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works, you will be responsible for overseeing the design coordination, execution, quality control, safety compliance, and timely delivery of all MEP systems for a semiconductor manufacturing facility.

This role requires a seasoned MEP manager who can lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders. You will need to have experience in cleanroom environments, critical utilities, and complex infrastructure. Additionally, you should be familiar with international codes/standards and local regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage all MEP activities, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, utilities, and process piping, for the semiconductor project.
  • Cordinate with design consultants, contractors, and equipment vendors to ensure alignment with project specifications, cleanroom standards, and client requirements.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of critical systems, including power distribution, HVAC, ultrapure water treatment, process gases, and other semiconductor-specific utilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, manage schedules, control budgets, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Implement and enforce quality control and safety protocols specific to semiconductor facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and coordination issues across multiple disciplines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP works, with at least 5 years in semiconductor / high-tech / cleanroom projects.
  • Proven expertise in HVAC systems for cleanrooms, ultrapure water systems, process gases, and high-voltage electrical distribution.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with ability to handle multi-disciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
