Engineering Leadership Position

This leadership role is focused on guiding a team of software engineers in building and scaling complex products and integrations. The ideal candidate will have experience with microservices architectures, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.

The key responsibilities of this position include leading, mentoring, and growing a team of engineers; defining and maintaining technical direction for microservices-based systems and event-driven architecture; guiding engineers in building robust integrations with third-party platforms and internal services; ensuring best practices in API-driven development and system interoperability; overseeing cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP; managing data infrastructure with MongoDB and DynamoDB; partnering with product and business stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals; and implementing processes for CI/CD, observability, incident management, and cost-optimized cloud operations.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Node.js (NestJS), ReactJS, and API design; hands-on experience building and scaling microservices architectures; familiarity with third-party integrations and e-commerce platforms; knowledge of working with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and distributed data systems; expertise with AWS and GCP cloud environments; experience implementing engineering best practices; and strong leadership and people management skills.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
  • Strong technical foundation in Node.js (NestJS), ReactJS, and API design.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations and e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of working with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and distributed data systems.
  • Expertise with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
