Backend API Developer Opportunity

About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced Backend API Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud platforms.
  • The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Python (FastAPI) and Node.js (Express).
  • Responsibilities include ensuring API security through authentication, authorization, and encryption, as well as optimizing performance with caching strategies, load balancing, and asynchronous processing.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer to work collaboratively with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Maintenance of API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger is also a key responsibility.
  • In addition, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting production systems for reliability and scalability, as well as participating in code reviews and architectural discussions.

 

About You:
  • You have 3-5 years of backend development experience, with strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
  • You possess a solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems, with experience with RESTful API design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure is highly desirable.
  • You are proficient in version control systems, including Git/GitHub, and have experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • A strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
