Desktop Technical Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Support: Installation and configuration of operating systems across devices, ensuring seamless integration with hardware components.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Assembling, upgrading, and troubleshooting of computer hardware to maintain optimal performance.
  • Software Services: Installation, configuration, backup, and troubleshooting of standard applications including Microsoft Outlook to ensure efficient productivity.
  • Network Infrastructure: Installation and troubleshooting of network printers, as well as VPN and firewall configuration to secure network infrastructure.
  • Cyber Security: Implementing BitLocker encryption, updating antivirus software, and managing virus protection to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Directory Management: Creating user accounts, resetting passwords, updating group policies, and controlling access to maintain a secure and organized directory environment.
  • Remote Assistance: Providing remote assistance for software and system-related issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Asset Tracking: Coordinating with vendors for hardware issues and maintaining inventory records for hardware and software assets to ensure effective resource utilization.
