Job Opportunity: Communications Professional

The position of Communications Manager involves overseeing the development and implementation of corporate and external communication strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include managing internal communications through collaboration with various teams, researching and creating or editing content for multiple platforms, and planning and executing communication initiatives for key events.

A successful candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and project management skills are also essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with brand guidelines and style guides.

Key requirements for the role include 4+ years' experience in a similar position, excellent knowledge of copywriting and editing principles, solid understanding of project management methodologies, meticulous attention to detail, and a bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy effective corporate and external communication strategies
  • Manage internal communications through collaboration with various teams
  • Research, create, or edit content for emails, newsletters, org website, infographics, social media, etc
  • Plan and execute communication initiatives for key events
  • Maintain knowledge of company policies, brand guidelines, and style guide
  • Work with internal teams to brainstorm content ideas
  • Assist in communication from leadership
  • Serve as a facilitator and provide solutions for peaceful resolution of disputes
  • Proactively measure performance of communication strategies

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience as a communications specialist for internal and external communication
  • Experience in copywriting and editing for all platforms
  • Solid understanding of project management principles
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) [essential]
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities across locations & teams
  • Works well under pressure and meets timelines
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications or relevant field
