Job Title: Culinary Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fine dine continental restaurant as a skilled and experienced culinary professional.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent high standards of personal presentation and behaviour at all times during a shift.
  • Demonstrate efficient time keeping, presentation and workflow.
  • Have complete knowledge of the section allocated, and the cookery involved.
  • Understand the brand and the cookery methods/techniques.
  • Maintain service of food to assigned task standards/spec/batch cooking.
  • Ensure mise en place of the section is performed to high standards required at all times.
  • Relate all ordering requirements for that section to the Service Chef or Senior Chefs when instructed.
Requirements:
  • Confidently able to run multiple sections in the kitchen.
  • Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all departments.
  • Flexible and willing to extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties within the job capacity as assigned.
