Job Description:

The Program Development Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of educational programs at Inventure. This involves overseeing the delivery of programs designed to prepare students for life, aligning them with the core purpose and values of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Outreach: The manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring community outreach programs that foster empathy and social responsibility among students. This includes assessing needs, designing curricula, and coordinating initiatives across grades.
  • Internships: The manager ensures that students complete internship projects, present their reports, and receive evaluations based on their presentations. Internships are an integral part of senior school life, providing essential skills and experience for career development.
  • Field Trips and Guest Lectures: The manager manages partnerships, assesses suitability, and works closely with faculty members to provide students with real-life exposure through field trips and guest lectures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Planning and Multi-Tasking: The ability to work in high-intensity environments, handle complex projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to engage with stakeholders, including parents, educators, and external partners.
  • Analytical Skills: Basic understanding of data analysis, identifying patterns, and drawing meaningful conclusions.
  • Data and Information Management: Ability to save and organize data concerning programs, processes, and best practices for dissemination.
  • Taking Initiative and Persistence: Belief in new ideas, persistence, and persuasion to motivate teams to follow through.

Experience and Education:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in designing and managing educational projects and teams.
  • Prior experience in organizing physical and online events/programs.
  • Domain knowledge of Skills Development programs, Social Work, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Entrepreneurship, Child Rights, or Impact Assessment.
  • Masters in any of the mentioned domains.
  • Excellent communication skills in English language.
  • Knowledge of Kannada language is an added advantage.
