About the Role

As a Senior Orthopaedic Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Customer Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key orthopaedic surgeons, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent customer service and to identify new business opportunities.

  • Sales Performance

Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies, building rapport with customers, and providing exceptional product knowledge and support.

  • Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and other means to drive growth and revenue expansion.

  • Market Knowledge

Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.

  • Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience

The successful candidate will possess a graduate degree in a relevant field, such as business or life sciences, and have at least 9-12 years of experience in orthopaedic implants/pharma sales or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is expected to be in the range of ₹35-50 lakhs per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Travel Requirements

This role requires frequent travel, estimated at 70% of the time, to meet with customers, attend industry events, and participate in training sessions.
