About the Role:
This is a senior-level position that involves building and nurturing relationships with senior bureaucrats, government officials, and decision-makers to influence and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of government tenders, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sales efforts in the focused Central Government ministries.
- Build and manage relationships with key OEMs and partners to develop joint strategies for winning government business.
- Provide strategic input and insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, bids, and other documentation necessary for government projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of closing large business opportunities in Central Government during the last 3 financial years.
- At least 10-12 years of overall sales experience with a minimum of 5 years specifically in Central Government sales.
- Engineering graduate + MBA (preferred).
- Must have worked in a System Integration company, with deep familiarity in selling IT solutions to Central government.
- Strong knowledge of government business processes, including familiarity with government tenders, procurement policies, and contract management.
- Proven relationships with senior government officials and key OEMs.
- Ability to drive conversations with consulting and advisory bodies to identify new opportunities and drive them to closure.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
