Job Title: Device Engineering Innovator

Role Overview

As a leading expert in device engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and growth within the semiconductor manufacturing sector. You will be responsible for spearheading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives to develop cutting-edge technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or related fields, with a proven track record of leadership and collaboration. They will be able to work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transfer 28-90nm technologies from partner facilities by working closely with the fab integration team.
  2. Develop feature additions and improvements to 28-90nm technologies, focusing on leakage, performance, RF/Power FOM's, Auto Grade Qualification, and more.
  3. Collaborate with the business team to achieve performance targets and cost analysis.
  4. Work with the integration team on test chip layouts.
  5. Meet project performance requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  6. Build and lead a diverse team across geographies.
  7. Establish strong customer relationships based on confidence in technical capabilities.
  8. Conduct competitor benchmarking and develop roadmaps for future development.
  9. Present findings to internal and customer senior executives.

Qualifications
  1. M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Materials Science, or equivalent.
  2. Strong understanding of device physics, process modules, yield improvement, failure mechanisms, analytical techniques, physical and electrical.
  3. Experience guiding TCAD and compact modeling teams.
  4. Development and optimization of transistors for at least one CMOS node.
  5. Deep knowledge of CMOS parameters and figures of merit.
  6. Understanding of transistor physics and fabrication details, especially planar MOSFET and BJT.
  7. Design and layout E-test structures and analyze/interpret data from these structures.
