A mechanical design engineer is needed to assess and improve the performance of existing data centers.

The ideal candidate will introduce innovative solutions, including HVAC, cooling, and ventilation upgrades.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing efficient mechanical systems\
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals\
  • Developing and maintaining engineering standards and guidelines\
  • Providing expert guidance and support to engineering teams\
  • Promoting sustainable practices in mechanical system design\
  • Staying up-to-date with local and international design codes and standards\
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously\
  • Traveling to site locations as needed\
  • Working independently or as part of a team\
  • Firming up equipment data sheets and performing necessary calculations\
  • Knowledge of system controls, BAS functional requirements, and energy conservation methodologies\
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Autodesk, REVIT, and BIM\
  • Experience with DDC controllers, PLC architectures, electrical systems, and networking servers\
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities\
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills\
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering\
  • Background in pharmaceutical plants, oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, and chemical industries\
  • Completion of at least one full data center project from concept to commissioning\
