Job Title: Asst. Manager-Mechanical-Design Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with 3D modeling software.

About the Role:

The Working Engineer (WE) will be part of an engineering team providing engineering services to large and small projects. The WE is responsible for engineering in a 3D environment and the production of 3D models and 2D drawings in accordance with project requirements, under the supervision of the Project Engineer (PE). The WE is required to apply specialized and/or advanced engineering principles at both conceptual and detailed levels. The WE participates in a wide range of projects, including modeling and drafting for the detailed engineering phase of multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Project Requirements: Assist the PE with the delivery of project requirements, including scope, quantities, quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Work in an Integrated Environment: Work in an integrated 3D environment and produce design calculations, reports, specifications, evaluation reports, technical recommendations, 3D models, and 2D drawings as per project requirements.
  • Produce Technical Deliverables: Produce and maintain technical and engineering deliverables using 2D and 3D engineering software as required.
  • Share Technical Expertise: Facilitate the sharing of technical expertise across projects, including the archival of project documents.
  • Provide Training: Provide and/or participate in training for resources assigned to the project.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate or Graduate Degree: Postgraduate or graduate in an engineering discipline.
  • Relevant Experience: 1-4 years of experience in the relevant design discipline.
  • Engineering Packages: Experience in engineering packages.
