Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead and support HVAC, plumbing, and piping design activities on projects mainly in North America.

The successful candidate will report to the mechanical section manager and be responsible for managing the assigned scope within agreed schedules and budgets.

Candidates must have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.

  • Responsible for design and specification of mechanical systems like HVAC, plumbing, hydronic systems (hot water, steam, and chilled water) for industrial facilities.
  • Capture client requirements and advise them regarding mechanical systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.
  • Review contractor shop drawings, field inspections, and testing and commissioning reports.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and stakeholders to develop a clash-free system design.

Candidates should have hands-on experience on projects in North America region and knowledge of Revit is a plus. A committed team player able to work on own initiative is required.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master degree in Mechanical engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of working experience in MEP design for industrial facilities.
  • Hands on experience on projects in North America region and knowledge of Revit will be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of international codes and standards applicable for industrial facilities.

Candidates will be using Trane TRACE or any other load calculation program, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Tools MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook, OneNote.
