Technical Expert for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

This role requires a high level of technical expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing SSRS reports, as well as creating and maintaining custom forms, tables, classes, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design and develop SSRS reports, leveraging strong knowledge of data structures, report design, and performance optimization.
  • Dashboard and Report Creation: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, with the ability to integrate SSRS and Power BI to deliver end-to-end business intelligence solutions.
Customization and Integration:
  • X++ Development: Proficient in X++ development, extensions, and overlayering, with experience in creating and maintaining custom forms, tables, classes, and workflows.
  • Report Customization: Expertise in customizing reports using SSRS and integrating with Power BI, as well as configuring and extending data entities for integrations and data migration.
Integration and Performance Tuning:
  • Integration Development: Strong background in designing and developing integrations using OData, Custom Services, Data Management Framework (DMF), Azure Logic Apps / Power Automate, and third-party APIs.
  • Troubleshooting: Skilled in analyzing and optimizing custom code, queries, and batch jobs, with the ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical issues in collaboration with functional consultants.
Deployment and Release Management:
  • Deployment Preparation: Experience preparing deployment packages in LCS, with working knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines for build and release management.
  • Post-Deployment Stability: Validating and ensuring post-deployment stability in target environments, with a focus on quick resolution of P1/P2 issues during hypercare.
Go-Live and Post-Go-Live Support:
  • Cutover Activities: Supporting cutover activities, including data load, configuration migration, and validation, with a focus on quick resolution of P1/P2 issues during hypercare.
  • Handover Documentation: Preparing handover documentation for smooth transition to support teams, ensuring seamless post-go-live support.
Required Skills:
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing SSRS reports.
  • Proficient in X++ development, extensions, and overlayering.
  • Expertise in customizing reports using SSRS and integrating with Power BI.
  • Strong background in designing and developing integrations using OData, Custom Services, Data Management Framework (DMF), Azure Logic Apps / Power Automate, and third-party APIs.
