Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading complex change projects that drive strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-impact projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be an expert in project management, with the ability to develop and manage project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. They will also possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex change projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, providing timely updates on project progress and addressing concerns in a proactive manner.
  • Lead high-performing project teams, ensuring they are properly resourced and equipped to deliver project outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies to ensure project success.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices throughout the organization.

This role requires a seasoned leader who can provide strategic input to function-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will contribute to policy and procedure development, plan, manage, and consult on multiple complex and critical strategic projects.

  • Manage a business function, providing significant input to function-wide strategic initiatives. Contribute to and influence policy and procedure development.
  • Manage the direction of a large team or sub-function, leading other people managers and embedding a performance culture aligned to the organization's values.
  • Provide expert advice to senior functional management and committees, influencing decisions made outside of own function.
  • Escalate breaches of policies and procedures appropriately.
  • Maintain broad and comprehensive knowledge of industry theories and practices within own discipline, alongside up-to-date relevant sector and functional knowledge.
  • Exercise management authority to make significant decisions and certain strategic decisions or recommendations within own area.
