Studio Operations Leadership

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for leading and managing a studio team, ensuring efficient daily operations and effective vendor management.

  • Daily Studio Operations:
    • Develop and implement strategies to streamline daily catalog shoots in alignment with business priorities.
    • Monitor and track the output of the studio team, photographers, editors, and coordinators, to ensure targets are met and quality is maintained.
    • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve turnaround times (TAT) and overall efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination:
    • Lead and manage the studio photography team and post-production editing team, ensuring smooth handoffs between production and post-production.
    • Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and foster a collaborative work atmosphere within the studio, working closely with styling and creative teams to improve efficiency and output quality.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with post-production vendors, production houses, agencies, and freelance talent, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
    • Negotiate contracts, track deliverables, and maintain a vetted vendor database, periodically assessing performance and implementing necessary changes.
  • Process Setup & Improvement:
    • Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pre-production, shoot execution, post-production, and final asset delivery.
    • Implement efficient workflows to reduce shoot-to-upload time for e-commerce assets and optimize resource usage.
  • Quality Control:
    • Conduct on-set checks for brand consistency in photography and styling, ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and legal requirements.
    • Oversee post-production QC - retouching, color correction, and final output approvals, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Manage equipment procurement, maintenance, and resource allocation to ensure optimal usage of both in-house and outsourced resources.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    • Provide regular production and post-production status reports to the Creative Head, highlighting any risks or delays and proposing corrective actions.
