Financial Operations Manager

The Senior Associate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to support audits and management reporting while ensuring timely closure of accounts and compliance with statutory requirements.
This position involves managing a variety of tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage journal entries and ensure monthly closure of accounts.
- Prepare and issue invoices; follow up on collections.
- Process vendor payments and manage payables as per agreed terms.
- Perform ledger reconciliations (banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable).
- Conduct monthly GSTR-2B reconciliation and coordinate with vendors for pending filings.
- Perform quarterly reconciliation of Form 26AS.
- Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
- Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management.
- Coordinate with external auditors, resolve queries, and provide required documentation.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliances, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
