
Hospital Cleaning and Security Manager

Our hospital seeks a dedicated professional to manage its housekeeping and security operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the cleanliness, safety, and security of our facilities, ensuring a positive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Responsibilities:- Cleanliness Operations:
- Supervise and manage the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of hygiene and tidiness in all hospital areas.
- Create and implement effective cleaning schedules for wards, common areas, operating rooms, and other facilities within the hospital.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the housekeeping team is adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and ensure adequate stock levels for daily operations.
- Train housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Address any housekeeping-related complaints or concerns from patients, staff, or visitors promptly.
- Security Operations:
- Supervise the security team to maintain a safe and secure environment within the hospital premises.
- Develop and implement security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or breaches.
- Create duty rosters for the security team, ensuring 24/7 coverage of key hospital areas.
- Coordinate with the security team to monitor CCTV surveillance, entry-exit points, and emergency response measures.
- Handle any security incidents or emergencies promptly and report them to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure that security staff is trained in emergency protocols, including fire safety, evacuation, and disaster management.
- Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of both housekeeping and security teams.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to address concerns, provide feedback, and update the team on new protocols.
- Coordinate staffing needs, including recruitment, training, and scheduling shifts for housekeeping and security personnel.
- Maintain discipline and ensure all staff adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Coordination and Reporting:
- Coordinate with other hospital departments to ensure smooth operation of housekeeping and security activities.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly reports on housekeeping and security performance, incidents, and needs to the Administrative Manager.
- Ensure compliance with legal and hospital regulations regarding housekeeping and security operations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supervising housekeeping and/or security operations, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospital Administration, Facilities Management, Security Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent organizational and time management abilities, knowledge of hospital safety and hygiene standards, ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, proficiency in creating and managing duty rosters, good communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and English.
