Job Title Supervisor - Housekeeping Security OperationsLocation Varachha SuratDepartment OperationsEmployment Type Full-timeJob Summary We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to oversee and manage the Housekeeping and Security teams at our multi-speciality hospital located in Varachha Surat The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that both the housekeeping and security operations run smoothly maintaining a clean safe and secure environment for patients staff and visitors The Supervisor will monitor daily activities manage the staff and ensure that all standards and protocols are followed effectively Key Responsibilities Housekeeping Operations Supervise and manage the housekeeping team to ensure all hospital areas are clean sanitized and maintained as per hygiene standards Create and manage cleaning schedules for wards common areas operating rooms and other facilities within the hospital Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the housekeeping team is maintaining cleanliness tidiness and compliance with health and safety regulations Manage housekeeping supplies and ensure that stock levels are adequate for daily operations Train housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques the use of cleaning equipment and safety protocols Address any housekeeping-related complaints or concerns from patients staff or visitors promptly Security Operations Supervise the security team to ensure the safety and security of the hospital premises Develop and implement security protocols to prevent unauthorized access theft or breaches Create duty rosters for the security team ensuring 24 7 coverage of key hospital areas Coordinate with the security team to monitor CCTV surveillance entry exit points and emergency response measures Handle any security incidents or emergencies promptly and report them to the appropriate authorities Ensure that the security staff is trained in emergency protocols including fire safety evacuation and disaster management Team Management Lead motivate and monitor the performance of both housekeeping and security teams Conduct regular staff meetings to address concerns give feedback and update the team on any new protocols Coordinate staffing needs including recruitment training and scheduling shifts for housekeeping and security personnel Maintain discipline and ensure all staff adhere to hospital policies and procedures Coordination Reporting Coordinate with other hospital departments nursing admin etc to ensure the smooth operation of housekeeping and security activities Prepare and submit daily weekly monthly reports on housekeeping and security performance incidents and needs to the Administrative Manager Ensure compliance with legal and hospital regulations regarding both housekeeping and security operations Key Qualifications Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supervising housekeeping and or security operations preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting Education Bachelor s degree or diploma in Hospital Administration Facilities Management Security Management or a related field Skills Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Knowledge of hospital safety and hygiene standards Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently Proficiency in creating and managing duty rosters Good communication skills in Gujarati Hindi and English Preferred Qualifications Experience with hospital housekeeping protocols security surveillance systems and emergency response procedures Familiarity with cleaning equipment chemicals and security technologies Certification in Occupational Health and Safety OHS or Security Management is a plus Why Join UsBecoming a part of our multi-speciality hospital team means contributing to the safety comfort and well-being of our patients and staff As a Supervisor you will play a key role in ensuring that the hospital environment remains clean secure and well-maintained which is critical to our overall healthcare delivery
