IT Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for procuring all types of IT hardware, software, and related services with a significant annual spend size.

  • Procure IT hardware, software, and related services with a focus on cost savings and efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts, orders, deliveries, and settlements with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including internal and external audits of the procurement-to-pay cycle.
  • Participate in annual budgets and track due dates and renewals.
  • Mitigate risk, develop alternatives, optimize, and strategize spend to achieve speed and cost excellence.
  • Take ownership of the spend category and manage it consistently.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Graduate degree in engineering or a related field with a postgraduate diploma in material management or MBA in IT systems preferred.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a similar role in a large, complex organization.
  • Creative mindset with strong team spirit and ability to navigate different situations.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) with collaborative approach and problem-solving attitude.
  • Process orientation and strong ethics with IT/computer savvy and Excel/MS Office skills.
