As a senior fundraising professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive annual fundraising plan to secure revenue for the foundation's philanthropic efforts.

You will work closely with the India leader and members of thematic teams to build a pipeline of support from individuals, foundations, corporations, and other funding sources.

This role requires entrepreneurial spirit, result-oriented approach, and proven track record of building and augmenting a national network of diverse donor support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a strategic roadmap for the foundation's fundraising with clear short-, medium-, and long-term objectives based on a shared vision of desired outcomes
  • Develop a national network of diverse supporters strengthening the existing network and adding new champions and donors
  • Build a diversified portfolio approach to fund raising ensuring effort and target distribution across different kinds of sources
  • Execute multiple aspects of the plan engaging high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other pertinent entities
  • Work closely with Foundation Leader(s) to establish an effective fund channelization and utilization process along with clear measures to determine net value added in targeted thematic areas
  • Maintain initiative teams informed on emergent trends and outlook in terms of long-standing partnership and/or support commitments to ensure operating designs are simple, relevant, and practicable in terms of measurable impact
  • Utilize understanding of leading-edge philanthropic pipeline and cause-related marketing management to drive related funding endeavors across different thematic areas of the foundation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enrichment and augmentation of fundraising opportunities and impact

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Business, Social Sciences, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership position. Experience with social or development sector organizations is preferred.
