Job Title: Trade Compliance Specialist Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented trade compliance specialist to manage our import and export operations in accordance with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Indian Customs law, foreign trade policy, and regulatory frameworks governing trade schemes such as SEZ and MOOWR.

The role involves overseeing day-to-day import/export operations, ensuring full compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing scheme applications, and preparing customs documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage import/export operations for units registered under SEZ and MOOWR schemes
  • Ensure compliance with SEZ Act & Rules, MOOWR Regulations, and related customs/GST regulations
  • Prepare and review customs documentation for imports and exports
  • Coordinate with government authorities and CHAs for trade compliance
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Deep understanding of Customs Act 1962, Foreign Trade Policy, SEZ Act 2005 & Rules 2006, MOOWR Regulations, and related circulars/notifications
  • Proven experience in handling customs documentation and clearance processes
  • Proficiency in using government portals (e.g., ICEGATE) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:

A master's degree in commerce/law/international business or a related field is required.
