A seasoned compliance professional is sought to assume a leadership role in our organization. This position requires a highly skilled individual with a minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance and corporate governance, adhering to all statutory, regulatory, and internal governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Governance & Board Support: Advise the board of directors on matters of corporate governance, ensuring efficient and ethical operations. Facilitate board meetings, preparing agendas, and ensure accurate minute-taking and timely follow-up on action items.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other financial laws applicable to listed companies.
  • Acquisition & Integration: Manage and integrate the compliance functions of newly acquired companies, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks across the organization, developing and implementing robust internal policies and procedures.
  • Statutory Filings: Oversee the preparation and timely filing of regulatory documents and returns with authorities such as the Registrar of Companies (ROC), Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), and SEBI for listed entities and subsidiaries.
  • Responding to Regulators: Ensure prompt resolution to queries / notices / summons issued by stock exchanges / SEBI / other regulatory authorities and engage in discussions to resolve their queries.
  • Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to ensure continuous adherence to regulations and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills to effectively advise the board and management. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly desirable.
