Principal Accountabilities Overview
The primary objective of this role is to oversee the Group business, ensuring seamless collaboration with Bank employees. This involves managing multiple tasks, liaising with various departments, and championing product growth through business sales teams.
- Manage the Group business, collaborating effectively with Bank employees.
- Liaise with different departments for case closure, ensuring timely resolution.
- Drive top-line sales through business sales teams, maintaining penetration levels of group insurance products with channel partners.
- Enhance understanding of the business among key officials (ASSL, DSA, other bank officials) to increase seller activation.
- Provide market feedback on competition and other products in the market.
- Engage with Partner Zonal Leadership team, Ops & Credit Team, DSAs, SMs, Field Sales Staff at all levels, fostering strong relationships across functions.
- Track penetration performance, publishing dashboards alongside Group Operations.
- Measure and monitor metrics (Files and sum assured Penetration rates, seller activation, Claim denial rates/pending rates, rejection ratios, medical TATs) to minimize them and adhere to TATs, contributing to product improvement.
- Oversee Post Sales process monitoring and control.
- Manage complete claims operation and end-to-end process.
Essential Skills
Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in data analysis and ability to drive business growth through sales teams are also critical.
Desirable Skills
Candidates with experience in sales management, account management, and business development will be highly valued. Strong knowledge of the insurance industry and its challenges will also be beneficial.
