Job Title: Automotive Protocol Engineer

As a key contributor to the development of cutting-edge technologies, you will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of communication protocols within automotive systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop communication protocols for automotive systems.
  • Program, test, troubleshoot, and optimize protocols to ensure efficient system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and documentation to facilitate seamless integration and understanding of developed solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in relevant technologies to maintain expertise and provide innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory experience in engine management systems and their associated protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN) and ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios.
  • Experience with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) and diagnostic protocols to ensure effective troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues.
  • Understanding of automotive systems and industry standards (ISO 14229, AUTOSAR) to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C and ability to apply this proficiency in developing efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field to demonstrate academic foundation in relevant subjects.
  • Experience with testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Vector CANoe) to ensure thorough testing and validation of developed solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS) is an asset in ensuring efficient system performance and scalability.
