International Relations Director

We are seeking an experienced International Relations Director to lead our global engagement strategy and enhance India's international influence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster Strategic Partnerships: Develop and implement the organisation's international relations strategy, driving trade and investment opportunities globally.
  • Build Global Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organisations, and global business networks to advance Indian industry interests.
  • Drive Market Access: Design programs for market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes.
  • Align Global Engagements: Ensure global engagements reinforce India's domestic economic and policy objectives, aligning with national priorities.
  • Revenue Growth: Develop revenue streams through collaborations, sponsorships, and projects to ensure financial sustainability of international initiatives.

About You:

  • A Master's degree in international relations, public policy, economics, or a related field, PhD preferred.
  • 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.
  • Expertise in international trade, investment, and diplomacy, strong policy and advocacy background.
  • Visionary leadership with deep knowledge of international trade and diplomacy, strong diplomatic, negotiation, influencing, and consensus-building skills.
  • A wide international network across governments, industry associations, and multilateral institutions, excellent public speaking and cross-cultural communication skills.
