Job Title: Chief Programme Officer

Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini is a leadership development academy that nurtures and imparts training to elected representatives, political and social workers, and people in institutions and start-ups.

The organization conducts research in social, political, economic, and agricultural arenas with the intention of influencing policy. RMP has a special consultative status provided by the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

We are seeking a professional to lead our initiatives, including Knowledge Excellence Centre (KEC), IIDL (Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership), Socio-Political Research, Publications & various programs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship building skills, with at least 10 years of experience in program management, supervision, and budgeting. They should be knowledgeable about socio-political environments and able to identify training needs and offer relevant training programs to socio-political groups.

Key responsibilities include establishing goals, prioritizing projects, creating standards, and monitoring quality and outcomes of programs from conception to execution. The successful candidate will work closely with all stakeholder departments.

Preferring candidates with versatile backgrounds, experience in planning, publicity, report writing, program proposals, printing, book creation, documentation, etc., preferably in a social organization.

Skills required: Training design & content development, creating visibility for programs, execute report writing, project proposals, and documentation.

  • Qualification: Graduate/Post graduate preferred in sociology or political science but not mandatory

General Requirements: Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English (written and spoken) is preferred. Computer literacy is must, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is desirable.
