Job Description

This role involves building and maintaining relationships between the Bank of Baroda and defence forces/paramilitary forces/state police at an institutional level. Key responsibilities include liaising with local units, arranging meetings with commanding officers, facilitating account opening and loan campaigns, and providing support to regional teams to tap maximum accounts of new recruits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with local divisions/regimental centres/units/brigade head quarters etc. for strengthening relationship between bank and defence forces
  • Service relationships along with zones/regional teams
  • Arrange meetings with commanding officers/formations when senior functionaries need to call on them
  • Facilitate account opening/loan campaigns in cantonments/military stations including participation in rallies and advising zones/regions for marketing activities
  • Provide full support to ensure maximum accounts of all new recruits are tapped in regimental centres
  • Identify opportunities for digitisation in defence and necessary liaison at each level for canvassing institutional business
  • Act as one point of contact for complaint redressal
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a bachelor's degree in any discipline and have held the rank of Brigadier in Indian Army/Commodore in Indian Navy/Air Commodore in Indian Air Force. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships with defence forces and paramilitary forces.

Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around ₹50 lakhs per annum, depending on location and other factors. The role also offers travel opportunities as per area of responsibility and requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
