Store Associate Job Overview

This role involves receiving and staging merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking it appropriately for placement in the facility, and deliver merchandise to the appropriate department
  • Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, facilitating timely restocking and minimizing stockouts
  • Notify supervisors of low stock levels in a timely manner, enabling proactive replenishment and maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Inspect deliveries to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots, ensuring only high-quality products are accepted
  • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items, protecting the organization from potential losses
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, providing a solid foundation for future growth and development
  • No related work experience is necessary, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals new to the industry
  • The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift is essential, as is the capacity to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
