Program Manager Job Overview

This role involves supporting all industrial activities related to technical data packs from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), covering tooling, manufacturing, quality, program management, and supply chain management with Indian offset partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Head of Industrial Support on all issues and day-to-day activities.
  • Align the industrial capabilities of Indian offset partners and industries with Defence & Aerospace requirements.
  • Interpret and evaluate OEM data packs and prepare bill of materials/manufacturing data.
  • Apply problem-solving skills in a production environment. Analyze, evaluate, and discuss technical queries in data packs/manufacturing, including risks and actions, with the Head of Department and OEM.
  • Manage closely with OEM issues involving tooling's, interchangeability, qualification plans, industrialization, and production engineering.
  • Monitor end-to-end Industrialization plans and coordinate with supplier shop floor teams.
  • Proactively identify risks, develop action plans, escalate and resolve bottlenecks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Aeronautical) degree.
  • Good knowledge of aerospace primary parts manufacturing and Assembly, along with Industrialization and production engineering.
  • Program management/execution and supply management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage conflicts, and interpret/drawings/CATIA.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications (MS Excel, Project, and Presentation).
  • Minimum 12-15 years' experience in the aerospace sector.
