Project Coordinator Role

As a highly skilled project coordinator, you will be responsible for leading customer projects in discovery biology and biologics discovery. This role requires strong organizational skills, including time management, cost management, execution management, change management, risk management, and communication management.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD with up to 5 years of industry experience or a Master's degree with 8-12 years of industry experience. You will need to have proven experience in managing customer projects, understanding business cases, and defining project scopes.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

Project Initiation

  • Developing project proposals and accumulating proposal details from marketing teams.
  • Defining project scope and deliverables with stakeholders.
  • Setting up project offices and reviewing project progress.

Project Planning

  • Time Management: Ensuring completion of LDM activities and tracking Gantt charts against base plans.
  • Cost Management: Monitoring budget vs expenses and detecting cost variances.
  • Execution Management: Communicating progress and changes to stakeholders and tracking project progress.
  • Change Management: Identifying proposed changes and seeking authorization for implementation.
  • Risk Management: Creating risk repositories and summarizing risk mitigation plans.
  • Communication Management: Providing weekly updates to customers and conducting teleconferences.

Project Closure

  • Leading PET meetings to complete project deliverables.
  • Capturing inputs, variances, and key learnings from cross-functional team members.
  • Providing necessary inputs for budget preparation and post-project archival.

Key Account Management

  • Coordinating support for identified key accounts and leveraging team expertise.

Customer Audits and Visits

  • Handling and coordinating customer audits and visits.

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding discovery biology and biologics discovery business.
  • Knowledge on technical concepts and risk mitigation knowledge.
