Job Opportunity: Strategic Procurement Specialist

Lucy Electric is seeking an experienced professional to support new product development in its Manufacturing & Technologies India division.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Group Engineering Team and other business functions to optimize materials costs, source commodities, and implement Industry 4.0 practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source new suppliers adhering to global quality management standards
  • Negotiate pricing aligned with company purchasing parameters and procedures
  • Manage vendor relationships to deliver optimal results within available resources
  • Support the Purchasing function in New Product Development and Introduction operations
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing & Sales, UK Design Engineering, and QA to introduce alternative products at reduced costs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the switchgear industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills
