Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Role Requirements
Collaborate with project teams to define procurement needs and specifications.
Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for solar components.
Obtain quotes, proposals, and bids from suppliers for project materials.
Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with project goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Monitor market trends and changes in solar component pricing.
Assist in managing procurement budgets and cost tracking.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts to selected vendors.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to project sites.
Collaborate with logistics teams to manage transportation and delivery logistics.
Verify the quality and specifications of received materials.
Support the resolution of procurement-related issues and challenges.
Assist in maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contract compliance.
Assist in managing vendor performance and relationships.
Stay informed about industry best practices and supplier capabilities.
Adapt procurement strategies based on changing project requirements and constraints.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and project teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Participate in project meetings and provide procurement insights.
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
