Job Title: IT Procurement Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Procurement Manager to join our team. As an IT Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for researching, sourcing, negotiating, and procuring software products.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software licensing and contract management. They will work closely with leaders in the organization to understand software needs and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Research and evaluate software products and services to meet company needs.
- Negotiate with software vendors to obtain the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions for software purchases.
- Organize all procurement activities relating from Purchase Request to Purchase Order (PR to PO) in ERP system.
- Manage all post-PO tasks and track renewals of all softwares.
- Evaluate software usage and recommend software license optimisation strategies.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and developments in software products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 15 years of experience in software procurement, preferably in a product company.
- Familiarity with software licensing and contract management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Data analysis, reporting and presentation skills.
