Portfolio Analyst Job

The Portfolio Analyst role at msn-laboratories entails undertaking research and analysis to identify new product opportunities in Emerging Markets. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the Portfolio Selection Committee's decisions and Portfolio Strategy Planning, aligning with our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Product Identification: Identify new product/molecule opportunities across therapies in the small molecules' space based on medical and marketing feasibility.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of secondary market data to understand opportunities available across therapies.
  • IP Landscaping: Preliminary IP landscaping of products with respect to various patents across the globe.
  • Business Case Development: Build and update business cases for new products proposed for selection in the portfolio selection meeting.
  • Market Tracking: Constantly track market updates like label expansions, competition entry, safety warnings, quarterly sales for innovator brands, API suppliers etc. for the selected products.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis to remain abreast of market trends.
  • New Entry Channels: Identify new entry channels for the company through in-licensing and other opportunities to drive business growth.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IP landscape in pharma across markets.
  • Good understanding of pharma regulatory in US, EU, and Emerging markets.
  • Good understanding of formulation selection process including medical uniqueness, commercial forecast, and fitment with MSN technical capabilities.
  • Good understanding of forecasting, patient funneling, and pricing strategy.
  • Good understanding of data platforms such as IQVIA, Corelli's, IPD analytics, Global data.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with command in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications:

M. Pharm/M.Sc Chemistry/MBA (preferably from Tier I Institute/University).

Experience:

3 to 5 years in Portfolio, Strategy, and/or IPM.
