Job Title: Sous Chef

A highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef is required to manage aspects of the kitchen, ensuring an exceptional guest and member experience. This role will involve close collaboration with the Executive Chef to deliver high-quality food and beverage services.

About The Role:

  • Manage all operational, quality, and administrative functions in the kitchen
  • Oversee the provision of food to Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with current legislation
  • Assist guests with queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality and storage
  • Contribute to menu creation by incorporating guest feedback
  • Ensure consistent production of high-quality food through all hotel food outlets
  • Manage customer relations when necessary, representing the Executive Chef
  • Effectively manage the kitchen brigade to ensure a well-organized team
  • Control costs without compromising standards, improving gross profit margins and other departmental targets
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain good working relationships
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, health and safety, and food safety legislation
