Job Overview

The role of a Buying Executive involves supporting daily buying operations, vendor management, and inventory tracking. The ideal candidate will ensure timely replenishment and smooth coordination between vendors and internal stakeholders.

This position is responsible for following up with vendors daily/weekly for order status, production timelines, and delivery commitments. Additionally, the candidate will track purchase orders end to end, from issuance to delivery, ensuring adherence to deadlines.

Maintenance of accurate inventory reports and updating stock status regularly is crucial to avoid shortages or overstock. Recording and reconciling delivery notes, invoices, and pending order details are also essential tasks.

This role works closely with the buying team to support the launch and upkeep of customised jewellery collections. Coordination with warehouse and operations teams is necessary to align deliveries and stock movement.

A proactive approach is required to highlight and escalate any delays or vendor issues that may impact smooth supply flow.

Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Management, or related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in buying, merchandising, supply chain, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with ability to create and maintain basic reports.
  • Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Passion and interest in fashion retail, especially jewellery and accessories.
