Iron Ore Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our iron ore procurement operations, driving business growth through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, hands-on experience in trading/procurement, and excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Source high-quality iron ore from reputable suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effective solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms with vendors, leveraging market trends to support pricing strategies.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and shipping, to ensure seamless supply chain management.
- Develop and maintain positive vendor relationships, fostering trust and open communication.
- Monitor global and domestic market trends to inform procurement decisions and optimize business outcomes.
- Graduate in any field, with a strong foundation in business principles and practices.
- 5–10 years of proven experience in iron ore trading and procurement, with a track record of delivering results-driven solutions.
- Deep understanding of iron ore grades (Fe%), lumps, fines, and pellets, as well as mining operations, beneficiation, and logistics.
- Knowledge of local mining regulations and clearances, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
