Key Business Role

A seasoned analyst is needed to work closely with internal teams to enhance their processes and decision-making. The role involves conducting thorough research and analysis, identifying solutions to complex business problems, and introducing them into the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilizing advanced data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Developing and automating reports using Power BI and Google Sheets for informed decision-making.
  • Database Management: Understanding database structures in MySQL and SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in reporting and analytics.
  • Predictive Analytics: Employing statistical methods and predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes based on historical data.
  • Dashboard Creation and Visualisation: Creating insightful dashboards and visualisations using Power BI or Tableau, integrating various data sources into Power BI to build interactive dashboards.
  • Platform Expertise: Leveraging Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads to track performance metrics and derive actionable insights.
  • Report Automation: Automating report generation and distribution to enhance efficiency and accuracy in business operations.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams including product management, data engineering, marketing, and finance to understand their needs and provide valuable insights.
  • Tool Utilisation: Utilising Python for data manipulation and analysis, managing data storage and retrieval in AWS S3.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, data science, or computer science. A master's degree is advantageous.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a business analyst or similar role, preferably in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MySQL, SQL Server, Python, Power BI, Google Sheets, and AWS S3. Strong understanding of database structure, data analytics, and predictive analytics.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
