Senior Business Analyst Automotive Industry

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5+ years of experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our automotive business transformation initiatives, working across R&D programs. The role involves gathering and analysing requirements, translating business needs into clear user stories, and collaborating with stakeholders across Truck Technology, IT, and Operations to drive initiatives from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements for automotive systems and processes.

Develop user stories, documentation (BRD Business Requirement Document) and acceptance criteria aligned with business goals.

Analyse current workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency and digital enablement (AS-IS and TO-BE).

Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions are feasible and aligned with customer expectations.

Support system implementations, upgrades, and integration projects within the automotive ecosystem (ERP, telematics, etc.).

Support data analysis and reporting for key initiatives, using insights to guide recommendations.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and end user satisfaction.

Monitor industry trends in automotive and mobility, advising on potential impacts and opportunities for the business.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the automotive industry.

Strong understanding of automotive processes (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, connected vehicle, or aftersales).

Proven experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and user story writing.

Experience working in Agile or Hybrid delivery environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automotive ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), or telematics platforms.

Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL basics).

Exposure to digital transformation initiatives in automotive.

Certification in CBAP, CCBA, or Agile (CSPO, CSM) is a plus.
