Senior Academic Counsellor

Job Title: Senior Academic Counsellor

Location: Bengaluru, India

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Academic Counsellor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating contact with potential leads, qualifying them, and cultivating genuine interest in our programs and offerings.

The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between our potential learners and Admission Counsellors, establishing meaningful connections, understanding learner requirements, and arranging Video Counselling sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with assigned leads through effective communication and active listening
  • Qualify leads by assessing their interest, needs, and eligibility for our programs
  • Build rapport and credibility with leads through clear and concise communication
  • Schedule Video Counselling sessions with Admission Counsellors for qualified leads
  • Coordinate schedules and ensure smooth communication between leads and Admission Counsellors
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Edtech-sales experience (Study Abroad is a plus)
  • Min Graduation required
  • Previous experience working a 6-day work week
  • Currently working in the capacity of an individual contributor
  • Proven track record of meeting targets in the existing company
Essential Skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with an emphasis on fluency in English
  • Ability to listen effectively, build trust with potential learners, and approach situations with patience and empathy
  • Ability to persuade learners towards attending Video Counselling sessions to influence their enrollment decisions
