Lead Operations Manager

This role leads the plant operations for electrical products to deliver high performance and support sales team goals. The position is responsible for driving continuous improvement, building a culture of teamwork, and reviewing performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a continuous improvement culture in the plant operations team to upgrade performance and meet high standards.
  • Build a culture of teamwork across all functions to achieve individual and plant goals.
  • Review performances regularly and develop action plans to meet desired targets.
  • Support sales teams to achieve revenue targets through timely delivery of products.
  • Establish lean lines for localization and NPI products.
  • Drive zero incident safety culture in the plant with cross-functional support from the safety department.
  • Estimate capacity challenges based on future forecasts and plan for capital expenditures.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives through productivity projects.
  • Ensure industrial harmony in the plant through trust, transparency, and effective actions.
  • Coach and train team members to upgrade their skills and manage the team effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in electrical product manufacturing.

Skills:

  • Product knowledge in electrical product assembly.
  • Leadership qualities and project management skills.
  • Lean knowledge, industry 4.0 expertise, and basic understanding of local language (Tamil).
